Don’t pass laws to trample on our freedom to express our thoughts, verbally or in writing.
The govt itself is guilty of engaging in fake news; a case in point is the Police’s raiding of Teo Soh Lung’s home and their confiscating of her personal devices such as her mobile and laptop [what else?]; these devices are apparently still in the possession of the Police, more than a year after they were first taken from her home. TSL has not been formally charged in court for her post made in her Facebook on so-called Cooling-Off day. And the Police still have the cheek or the gall to remain in possession of her personal belongings. Where is the justice, Law Minister? Faking news? Are you?
