For 57 years, and no less, Singapore’s Prime Minister has been a Chinese, a member of the biggest majority racial group in Singapore.

In keeping with the principle that minority groups need to be accorded the opportunity for representation, the next PM of Singapore must not be a Chinese. The next PM must come from a minority race – Indian, Malay, Eurasian, Jewish, etc – any other race but Chinese.

If the next President of Singapore must be a Malay, the next PM of Singapore cannot be a Chinese.
